All of our upholstered bed frames and mattresses come with a 2 year manufacturer guarantee {unless stated otherwise). The divan bases come with a 1 year guarantee. Please note in order to claim against the guarantee on any product you must keep the original purchase receipt, if no receipt can be provided unfortunately we will not be able to assist any further. The manufacturer guarantee does not include general wear & tear, mis use, incorrect assembly by the customer or a third party and any modifications.

Fault within 7 days

In the unlikely case where you believe to have identified a manufacturing fault, you must report the fault within 7 days from the delivery date. It is at the manager’s discretion to issue a refund for the price of the faulty product or send out a like for like replacement. We may need photographic evidence of the fault or at times we may need to send out a technician to investigate the problem and if they can fix it on site this will be then the first priority. If we confirm that the product has a manufacturing fault and it can’t be fixed on site then it is at our sole discretion. We have the right to:

* Replace parts rather than the full product where applicable

* Replace the defective product with the same product or, if discontinued, the closest possible alternative

* Send the replacement parts or the exchanged product back to you

Please note if we decide a replacement part or a exchange is needed, this will be delivered using third party couriers and it will be a drop off service. If you want the bed assembling then this would incur the standard assembly cost. If the delivery date is confirmed and due to any reason you can not accept delivery you must notify us 24 hours before the delivery date. If this is not done then you will be liable for a re-delivery cost of £79.

Sometimes we may offer a discount or partial refund and If you accept a discount due to a fault, the right to return due to this issue will be voided.

Fair Deal Beds & Furniture will endeavour to organise replacements where required as quickly as possible, but customers should be aware of possible delays if third party suppliers need further instructions


Fault after 7 days

If you experience a problem after 7 days you must notify us via email with the original purchase receipt and images of the problem, we will then assess the issue and if we need to investigate the problem further we may ask for you to return the product to us at your own cost. The reason for this is because we offer free delivery with all of our products. The product must be returned fully packed as we are not liable for any damage whilst in transport. If we find the problem as a result of poor workmanship or a faulty product within your item then we will fix the issue and re deliver the item free of charge. We will also refund you of any postage costs you incurred to return the product. However if we find the issue was a result of mis-use or general wear and tear then this is not covered under the guarantee and you would need to arrange collection of the item at your own expense.
